Downtown Mesquite Farmers Market - Musician & Entertainer Information

Standard Booking Terms

The following are our standard booking terms for live musicians at the Downtown Mesquite Farmers Market.

TYPES OF MUSICIANS PREFERRED

Solo or duo acts, or family-friendly DJs.

We do not have the production capacity to handle full bands.

COMPENSATION

Flat Guarantee:

$50 – 1 hour slot (55-60 minute set)
$100 – 2 hour slot (two 50-55 minute sets with a 10-minute break)

2-hour sets are highly preferred.

Payment is typically paid via Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal the Friday following the performance.

TYPICAL SET TIMES

Currently, we are hosting our musicians from 10:00 am to Noon.

PRODUCTION

We provide:
- Sound System – Harbinger MT200 Bluetooth
  - Single microphone (Shure SM-58)
  - 2 - Mic stands
  - Simple 6-channel mixer.
  - Monitors can be added if requested in advance.
We can help with sound mixing, but better if the artist handles it.

TIPS & MERCH SALES

Artists can collect tips (typically make $30-150 on two-hour sets)
- Artist can stay and sell merchandise (artist keeps 100%)
- The artist needs to provide a table and tablecloth - The merch area is adjacent to the stage

PA & Mixer Specs

Our house PA is a Harbinger M200-BT. You can view the specs here.

FX are limited to an "echo" which is reverb but not the best reverb in the world. If you require more FX, we recommend bringing your own mixer or board, which we will daisy chain into the house mixer. The house mixer is basically always required as it powers the speakers.

There is a 1/4" and 1/8" line-in AUX and bluetooth connection available on Channel 5/6 for running backing tracks.
